As neither athlete came out of the sled, it still counted as a completed run and with the crash happening so close to the finish line, they did not lose vast amounts of time, although precious seconds had already been lost at the top of the track following Hall’s difficulty in getting into the sled.

Having retained a position in the top 20, dropping just two places to 13th, they will be able to race the fourth run, provided they are fit to do so.
