Weve been inspecting our Pokémon Legends: Arceus bingo cards, and not a single among us had “Basculin gets a new evolution”. Basculin? The fish guy? We have to state, we werent completely on board– at least, up until we learnt how GOSH DARN METAL he was.
Everyone loves a Pokémon with a horrible back story, like Drifloon taking kids and Bewear crushing individuals to death, and Basculegion, the brand-new development, is the newest member of the “wtf, Pokémon” ranks.

Hisuian Growlithe, on the other hand, has no apparent capabilities other than being very fluffy and charming. Hes a darker shade of orange, with voluminous hair that imitates the design of Chinese stone lions, which could hint at Hisuian Arcanines look, too.
Those are all the semi-new and new Pokémon we were presented to in todays Pokémon Presents, and theyll all become part of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, coming to the Nintendo Switch on January 28th, 2022.
Which Pokémon would you like to see get a local version or brand-new advancement? Let us understand in the comments!

Theres also Wyrdeer (Normal/Psychic), the final evolution of Stantler, a deer with a large booty that was presented in Gold and Silver. Wyrdeer is fluffy and high, looking practically exactly the same as Stantler, however with fur. Also, its antlers are more angular, and look a bit like television aerials.
We also have (at least) 2 new regional variations in the Hisui location: Hisuian Growlithe, and Hisuian Braviary.

Weve been examining our Pokémon Legends: Arceus bingo cards, and not a single one of us had “Basculin gets a brand-new evolution”. Basculin? Basculegion (Water/Ghost) is powered by the souls of restless, dead Basculin that failed to make the treacherous journey upstream. Its a Pokémon made up of mad fish ghosts.

Basculegion (Water/Ghost) is powered by the souls of uneasy, dead Basculin that failed to make the risky journey upstream. Its a Pokémon made up of mad fish ghosts.
Youll be able to ride Basculegion around the waters of Hisui, though we cant picture why you d desire to.

Hisuian Braviary (Psychic/Flying) changes the Pokémons colouring from that of an eagle to a more dignified grey/white combination, also modifying the Normal/Flying type to Psychic/Flying with using some radiant plumage. All Rufflet that develop in Hisui will end up being Hisuian Braviary.
As seen in the Pokémon Presents footage, players will have the ability to use Braviary as a sort of hang-glider, with the ability to steer the bird rather of simply flying from A to B immediately.
