No. 14 Michigan hits the road Saturday to face a Wisconsin team looking to save its season before it’s too late. The Wolverines have started the season in excellent fashion, winning their first four games by an average of 28.5 points, but while they’ve beaten a couple of quality opponents in that span, this will be the first time they have hit the road. That road game being in Camp Randall Stadium against a frequently tough Badgers team is not an easy challenge.
As far as Wisconsin goes, it began the season ranked No. 12 in the AP Top 25 and widely considered the favorite to win the Big Ten West. Three games in, the Badgers are 1-2 and no longer ranked as their only win came against Eastern Michigan. They’ve lost at home to Penn State, fallen to Notre Dame in Chicago and now are facing their third game against a top-15 team. Though Michigan is 51-17-1 all-time against Wisconsin, the Badgers have won two straight and five of the last seven meetings dating back to 2009.
This showdown could set the tone for the rest of the Big Ten’s season. CBS Sports will be with you the entire way with the latest scores, analysis and highlights from Michigan at Wisconsin. Keep it locked here from the opening kickoff through the final whistle.
