A man claims to have filmed bigfoot carrying a baby sasquatch across a river – and this incredible footage has awakened the debate about the beast’s existence.

A man named Eddie V shared the clip with the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organisation who in turn shared it on their Facebook page, and so far it’s had over 150,000 views.

Eddie explained that his cousin was kayaking down a river when he saw something he didn’t recognise crossing the water in front of him, so he quickly began filming.

In the footage, a giant hulking figure can be seen carrying a smaller creature in its arms, and while it’s unclear what it is in the footage – it certainly appears to be about the right shape and size to be Bigfoot.

What do you think about the sighting, was it Bigfoot? Let us know in the comments

Speaking to the niche organisation, Eddie said: “Not sure what it is, but I have sent it to a few people to see what they say. Some say it’s Bigfoot carrying a baby Bigfoot. Others say it’s Bigfoot carrying a deer.”

The organisation zoomed in on the footage, filmed on the Cass River in Michigan, and shared a still of the alleged sighting with their followers.

Some viewers didn’t believe this was a Bigfoot sighting, saying that the creature in the clip was “a guy in waders” – adding that the area is popular with fishermen.

But others were sold, and one social media user added: “What else could it be?”

Meanwhile, in 2019, the ‘ best Bigfoot sighting ever ‘ was made in a US forest, near the Mississippi town of Tunica.

The figure bears a resemblance to a human or ape with limbs and hands, and the creature also appears to be covered in black fur, which matches the description of the mythical creature which has been a part of US folklore for centuries.
