Only Horses and fools star John Challis has cancelled a speaking trip due to ill health.Challis, 79, began a 30-date schedule which has now been axed “with instant effect” after just one show.
The actor is most well-known for starring as pre-owned vehicle dealership Boycie together with Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst.In a statement to The Sun paper, his tour promoter A Way With Media said: “Due to disease, Johns tour is cancelled with immediate effect.” He finished the very first program of his present trip, intending to continue. He has actually been encouraged to cancel more engagements.”
Challis became a home name as Terrance Aubrey Boyce throughout more than twenty years of Only Fools and Horses from 1981 to 2003.
