Jeremy Kyle has actually stated he felt “scapegoated” after his TV program was axed following the death of a guest. ITV suspended the talk show forever in May 2019 when Steve Dymond, 63, passed away a week after participating in an episode.
Breaking his silence more than two years later, Kyle told The Sun how he felt too low to leave the house – and was diagnosed with a stress and anxiety disorder.

Opening up about his fight with stress and anxiety, he said: “I used to believe get a grip when some stars talked about those sort of problems.” But all of a sudden I understood first-hand you cant constantly do that. I never believed they would affect me like they did.

He included: “Critics will state I got a taste of my own medicine however I d been through a reasonable amount up till that point – and I guess everything caught up with me at the same time.”A preliminary inquest hearing was informed that Mr Dymond died of a morphine overdose and a heart issue at his house in Portsmouth, Hampshire.He had “stopped working” a lie detector test for the programme to show whether he had actually cheated on his ex-fiancee Jane Callaghan.The program, which was aired regularly because 2005, was axed following calls from MPs and members of the public.Following the cancellation of the daytime show, MPs launched an inquiry into reality TV.Earlier this year, Dame Carolyn McCall, primary executive of ITV, told the BBCs The Media Show the broadcaster was “taking a look at” cancelling Kyles program prior to it being pulled from the schedules.She said there are no prepare for Kyle to go back to the broadcaster.

The 56-year-old said he does not want to sound “concern is me”, including that what occurred was a “awful tragedy” and “ravaging” for Mr Dymonds loved ones, in addition to those who worked on the show.He added: “But it did hit me difficult. And its been awful to feel so scapegoated, and without having the ability to have my state about the accusations that frequently seemed to be levelled only at me.
