Could Finn Bálor be set to land himself a prime position on the Raw brand?

As per the usually reliably @WrestleVotes, one WWE writer is particularly keen to not only move Bálor over to Raw, but for the former Universal Champion to take over the Raw role previously inhabited by Drew McIntyre.

In terms of the Scottish Warrior, McIntyre had been positioned as the top babyface on Raw for the vast majority of the past 18 months or more.

Having won the 2020 men’s Royal Rumble match, Drew went on to defeat Brock Lesnar to become WWE Champion at WrestleMania 36, then carried the Raw brand on his back for a large part of the pandemic, exchanging that WWE Title with Randy Orton before The Miz cashed-in the Money in the Back briefcase to end McIntyre’s second run with that prize in November.

Even since dropping the WWE Championship, McIntyre has constantly been a featured main event player on Raw. Well, that is until the Scot was officially moved to SmackDown last Friday as part of the first night of this year’s WWE Draft.

Should Finn Bálor indeed end up drafted to Raw and take a similar spot on the red brand roster to that of Drew McIntyre, that’s surely only a positive thing for fans of the Bullet Club founder.
