China is studying the feasibility of putting together a huge spacecraft as much as a kilometre long in orbit.The National Natural Science Foundation has stated a four-year programme would attempt to work out how to develop a ship up to ten times the size of the International Space Station (ISS) from parts sent out into area by rockets.The structure said the study was a “major tactical” look at “area devices for future exploration” with the objective of making sure a “long-term stay” in orbit.Chinas state media stated the programme would analyze the “extremely made complex” dynamics involved, taking into account the need to make parts as light as possible and for new “styles” to help with in-orbit assembly.The countrys space enthusiasts warmed to the possibility of building
